CO2 Laser Coding Machines

for high-speed on-the-fly marking applications

System Overview

CO2 Laser Coding Machines

Our CO2 laser machines in a CDRH Class IV configuration is for integration into existing systems or assembly lines for on-the-fly marking or cutting applications. The CO2 laser is able to mark various organic materials, such as cardboard, plastics, glassware, rubber, and more.

To safely operate this machine, the customer is responsible for all safety measures needed for Class IV operation. CMS Laser will provide the appropriate guideliness for each customer to safely integrate this machine.

  • Class IV CO2 laser source
  • High-precision galvanometer scanhead
  • Part sensors and speed encoders for on-the-fly marking applications
  • Additional lenses available–based on applications lab testing of materials
  • Optional cabinet for laser controller and I/O devices and signals
  • Optional air-conditioning unit addon for cabinet enclosure
  • Monitor, keyboard, and mouse
  • CMS LaserGraf5 software with Windows® 10 64-bit operating system

Applications

CO2 lasers can be used for many types of applications, such as marking, cutting, drilling and welding of various materials. This machine is intended for on-the-fly marking of parts–like product packaging–on conveyor lines or for cutting plastics. Standalone operation for processing stationary parts is possible with this laser machine but with recommended safety precautions. Our laser applications lab will perform afree sample testing studyto determine if your desired process is feasible before proceeding with a purchase.
